Why have we not gone to this place sooner!? We used to have a favorite breakfast place that was quite a ways a way. And while we didn't really mind the long drive, we could only make the trek if our Saturday morning was free (which is very rare). Well, we've heard great things about The Brunswick Kitchen, so we decided to give it a try. Y'all... This place is amazing! The food and service are phenomenal. There's lots of seating in a very comfortable, homey setting. And it's right stinking here in our backyard! We will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying the catfish dinner soon.

If you like Meat Sweats, this is the place to go. If you like fruit.... Better luck...not here. Great place to grab some breakfast (and Turkey calls from the counter), then die on the couch for a few hours. I rate it 5 stars and a belly ache.

Great barbecue, awesome mac & cheese and white beans. Very friendly and prompt service. A cool laid back down home atmosphere and we even had live (guitarist/singer) entertainment! We'll definitely be back!

Super nice staff, and good home-cooking at a reasonable price. My husband loves their chicken & dumplings, and their vegetable beef soup. I really like the catfish. The desserts looked great, but we had no room left to partake!

Expected more of a home cooking menu and foods. Didn't really get it, seemed canned and prepared.. No real down home cooking. Service was ok, our order wasn't correct had to be sent back. Just wasn't really all that great. Not worth the drive from midtown to check out at all.... But did serve a great burger....

We had lunch at Brunswick Kitchen Sunday after church. We had a party of 18 and were seated very quickly. The food was delicious and the catfish was amazing!! The veggies were cooked very well and were tasty. The service was friendly and attentive.

We enjoy our meals every time. We also occasionally drop-in for the Lemon Ice Box Cake only.

Catfish is really good but I was greatly disappointed in the sides that come from cans. A southern restaurant should be able to cook greens, corn, etc. Not to mention canned vegetables are very cheap so to pay that much for a side is a shame.Since the owner wanted to respond to my comment and mention that there’s no corn (that was only an example of southern sides, I didn’t order corn either) but I did order turnip greens and noticed he little peppers that are similar to glory canned greens.

If you’re in the area give this restaurant a go! I had breakfast here and the food is so delicious! Friendly staff too. My daughter who is a picky eater finished her meal in no time!

I love breakfast at The Brunswick Kitchen. Dora gets my eggs PERFECT every time. Friendly staff, comfort food served in generous portions, and reasonable prices. They serve the BEST COFFEE anywhere. ❤️ If you haven’t tried it yet, I have to wonder if you just don’t like good food?

They have great food. The burgers are so yummy. Their desserts look amazing. Don't get me started about the great catfish.

The catfish her is quite literally the best anywhere in or around the memphis city limits. Coming in (for me) at first place and The flying fish downtown being a close 2nd! The staff is amazing as well. Weve been going for years, even back when it was a general store during the day and they moved the shelves and put in tables every Friday night for a fish fry!Only one complaint... the floor... the floor is so sticky itll peel off a flip flop. That's pretty gross and I hope they can get that fixed before I go next time. Other than that, this place is awesome.

Absolutely superb. Food was outstanding and service was prompt, professional and very courteous. I had the catfish and my wife the BBQ. Both, the fish & bbq, set a standard that was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend either one!!

I just moved back to town and I’m so excited to have a restaurant like this near me. The food was great and the vibe was “I’ll have my regular”. I’m excited to try more menu items. My only gripe was that the male waiter didn’t know how to accommodate my small children. Giant cup of milk for a kids cup. Couldn’t bring the kids food first. It’s just something that comes with experience. They accommodate huge tables and there’s a waiting area with checkers by the door. Men’s and women’s restrooms share a sink. Changing table in open space but out of sight of tables. Bar seating. A lot of parking. You can tell when they’re busy.

Stopped for breakfast, what a gem! Family-owned restaurant is worth stopping at. The food is all phenomenal and made with love!

The best meal I have had in a long time. BBQ is so good, and I truly believe they use crack in their catfish batter because I crave it all the time. Don’t forget the holy cow cake or big ol strawberry shortcake. I mean, you definitely get everything you hope and pay for.

Home cooked southern deliciousness. BLT w/fried egg is one of my favorites.

We eat at “the kitchen” a lot. The food and service is great. Today though the bacon wasn’t even cooked. Our server was great and got me another order which was fine. I didn’t send the toast back but couldn’t eat it. I love bread toasted on the griddle, but this tasted really weird. (Like the griddle was dirty?). Won’t stop us from eating there. Thanks Tyler!

First time there. Food was really good. Kitchen service was really slow. Waitress almost couldn't handle everything. She needs a register person who could draw drinks for her at least. Not going to stop me from going back at least

This place is sooo good! Their homemade strawberry cake is the best that I've ever had!!! Their homemade chicken tenders are also one of kind!! I highly recommend The Brunswick Kitchen to anyone looking for a new place to eat! You will not be disappointed especially if you get your hands on some of their strawberry cake!!! They also have BBQ that has great savory flavor and super tender that is smoked and prepared in house!!

It appeared everyone around me was getting good service. How was seated at a table ask about a drink, told him I wanted a dr. pepper. after 20 minutes I still did not have my drink nor did I have a menu. Very disappointing. My friends have been there and said it was really great. Not my experience

visited Brunswick Kitchen tonight for Dinner. I have been a few times and enjoyed the food. Celebrated my sons 20th birthday there a few months ago. Tonight I came in the door and noticed they were extremely busy around 6pm I waited a few minutes. And no one seated me. I asked a guy walking by who I assume is the manager or owner. He said it was closed for a special event. I was not upset, but suggested that a sign on the door explaining that would be helpfulHe went off. Said I was rude and I was never too return. He then opened the door for me to leave. I asked him to move so I could leave. As I left he followed me out the door yelling at me “say one more word.” As he bellies up against me pushing me.This is highly unprofessional behavior and I know this is a popular Bartlett spot. But thought everyone should know. Guys seems unstable. Dine at your own risk

Outstanding service and food!!! We had the pulled pork plates. Barbecue was tender, and the sauce was spot on! Fried okra was perfect, as was the homemade Cole slaw. Holy cow cake was to die for!! Will definitely be back, and soon!! Wait staff was super friendly and attentive, and the owner even stopped by to check on us! Great guy!!

Best greens EVER. Love this place and other people are clearly discovering how special it is. Great veggies, smoked meat and catfish. Minutes from wolfchase but miles better and more authentic than any chain.

My husband and I just ate here for the second time. The food and atmosphere are both great. We will most definitely be going back and will bring friends. Enjoyed getting to meet the owner and his family, so refreshing.

To address the last complaint. Sir i was in there you were not at all nice to the said man. The special event that was planned was scheduled months ago. If you googled the establishment it clearly says closed. If you were able to leave this comment on google you could have googled before going. The man whom you said must of been the mngr he was just defending hisself and his reputation. These people go over and beyond to treat all their customers like family. So i would just leave it at they had good food and a nice atmosphere when you were there last. I just want people to know there is always two sides to every story. These people did nothing wrong.

What a great bunch of folks! The food is good southern comfort food, a lot of great choices on the menu. We tried the BBQ ribs, fried catfish, home cooked vegetables and Holy cow cake for dessert. They have a really good breakfast too. Very casual and laid back atmosphere.

Love the food and you can tell the people that run the place sincerely enjoy what they do.

We've been meaning to stop in for quite a while now, Mom and I, and I'll tell you, for quite a while we've been missing out. Our food was so, so good!! It was so fresh and I literally tasted every ingredient on my plate. I enjoyed every bite. My biscuit was buttery, even under the gravy, the bacon was crisp, it was perfect. I also got grits because, well, grits! They stayed hot in their little bowl until I was ready to enjoy them and steamed as I chowed down. That bowl holds more than you think.. We won't wait so long to go back.On a side note Mom said the bathrooms are super tiny, so small the sinks are outside the do your business rooms.. but big enough they still work. :)Oh! And those breakfast potatoes!! They were crispy, every single one of them, they were perfect. Can't wait to go back and try something else!
